Brother Smart serves as a bishop and is a former stake mission president, high councilor, ward clerk, executive secretary, counselor in an elders quorum presidency, Primary worker, counselor in a Young Men presidency and missionary in the Philippines Baguio Mission. Sister Smart serves as a nursery worker and is a former counselor in a stake Primary presidency, Sunday School teacher, nursery leader, counselor in a Young Women presidency, counselor in a Primary presidency, counselor in a Relief Society presidency, Primary president, enrichment leader and Primary worker. Born in Santa Cruz, Calif., to Glen Elwin and Thelma Marie Thomas.
